Please arrive five minutes early to complete a basic health form. Bring any Western medical reports, medication records or lab results if available — this helps Dr. Ng assess your situation more comprehensively.

Dr. Ng uses the traditional four diagnostic methods (inspection, listening and smelling, inquiry, palpation): observing complexion and tongue, listening to voice and breath, detailed symptom and history inquiry, and pulse reading to understand organ and blood-qi status. First visits allow ample time for a thorough understanding of your health.

Based on your pattern diagnosis, Dr. Ng clearly explains your constitutional issues and treatment direction, selects the most suitable approach (acupuncture, herbal medicine, tuina or a combination), and outlines the expected number of sessions and timeframe. Individual results vary.

Acupuncture or tuina treatment (approximately 20–40 minutes), with herbal prescription as needed. Dr. Ng explains decoction methods, timing and precautions for any herbs prescribed.
